About Controls
No Power Switch
Heated towel rail without switch, directly connected to the power supply, plug and work.
This type of control is popular in some markets, such as Australia and New Zealand.
With Power Switch
The heated towel rail comes with an on/off button to activate itself by pressing a button.
This is currently the most mainstream way of controlling the heated towel rail. The switch is divided into metal button switch and boat switch. The metal button switch is divided into with indicator and without indicator. The boat switch is divided into waterproof and ordinary versions.
With Timer
The timer controller is a built-in controller that can be assembled on the heated towel rail.
It can make the electric towel rack start and then automatically turn off the power at the end of the pre-set time, so as to achieve the effect of saving electricity. Currently the most common is the 2-hour and 4-hour timer off.
However, because the power and power consumption of the electric towel rack is quite low, even if the power is always on, it will not cause huge electricity bills, so this control method is not mainstream.
* Since the timer comes with a circuit board, the warranty time of heated towel rail will be reduced if with timer.
With Touch Screen
With the development of the smart bathroom, the touch screen controller also began to be applied to the heated towel rail. It can touch the switch, control the temperature, timing, wifi connection, and other functions.
However, controlling temperature and wifi connection is not significant for a heated towel rail. And considering the warranty risk of touch screens, heated towel rail with smart touch screen is still niche in the market.
* Since the timer comes with a circuit board, the warranty time of heated towel rail will be reduced if with timer.
